Jacob focuses his practice primarily on commercial real estate matters and advises clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leases. Jacob works with many types of commercial properties including mixed-use developments, shopping centers, multi-family/apartment complexes, medical office buildings, office and industrial. In connection with his work Jacob is responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating the documents associated with the transaction at hand and educating his clients about the legal significance of the transaction terms. His work frequently involves reviewing the title for properties, recognizing potential title issues, and resolving those for his clients.

Away from the office, Jacob is an avid sports fan who enjoys collecting baseball cards and spending time with friends and family.
