Trusts and Estate

Tyler P. Long is a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice group at Schell Bray where he concentrates his practice on guiding families and individuals through every stage of the estate planning process. His goal is to assist families with preserving their assets while reducing the tax burdens that may arise upon inheritance.

Tyler also supports families through estate and trust administrations. He helps fiduciaries with probate proceedings, asset transfers, and the ongoing management and distribution of assets.

Before joining the firm, Tyler worked with a general civil practice firm where he counseled clients through the estate planning process, estate and trust administration, and elder law issues.

Tyler is a North Carolina native and has practiced law in North Carolina since 2024. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University before attending law school at Wake Forest University.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys reading, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
