Garland Graham, a member of the Schell Bray Business Practice Group, is currently working with a team of second-year law students enrolled in Elon University School of Law’s Public Law and Leadership course. Ms. Graham is serving as organizational liaison on behalf of Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization that she founded in 2006. The law students are examining existing animal protection laws and ordinances across North Carolina and comparing them to the laws and ordinances of other states and municipalities. The students will make presentations to Red Dog Farm and Guilford County Animal Control representatives, summarizing current state and local animal protection laws and ordinances and recommending others that are in effect in other jurisdictions.
Garland Graham’s practice focuses on all stages of the life of a business entity, whether it be a limited liability company, limited partnership, corporation or nonprofit corporation. Ms. Graham received her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida.
