The Piedmont Business Ethics Awards are presented annually by the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals to honor local companies who have demonstrated a commitment to business ethics.  Companies entering the 2011 awards competition were judged in one of four categories based on their number of employees.  Students from UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics, North Carolina A&T State University, Elon University Martha & Spencer Love School of Business, Elon University School of Law, Greensboro College, High Point University Phillips School of Business and Wake Forest University Babcock School of Management participated in the project and gained hands-on experience evaluating the ethics of various business practices.

Dean George R. Johnson, Jr. of the Elon University School of Law served as Master of Ceremonies for the 2011 awards luncheon, which was held on April 27.  The following winners were announced at the event:  Blue Ridge Companies, Dynamic Quest, Triad Auto, Roy’s Automotive Center and Guy’s Home Inspection Service.
