Schell Bray PLLC Welcomes Experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney Louise Maultsby Bristol

Louise Maultsby Bristol, who has guided clients through estate, trust and charitable planning matters for more than three decades, is returning to Schell Bray PLLC as special counsel.

Bristol will work in the firm’s Greensboro office in the Trusts and Estates practice group. She returns to Schell Bray after 18 years with Greensboro-based Piedmont Trust Company.  Prior to her time with Piedmont Trust Company, she had been a partner with Schell Bray after starting her career with Adams Kleemeier (now Maynard Nexsen).

“We are pleased that Louise is bringing her extensive insights and specialized experience to our clients and firm,” said Amy Kincaid, a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice group. “Her tremendous talents create even more depth on our very strong team of Trusts and Estates and Tax-Exempt Organizations attorneys. We are so pleased to welcome Louise home.”

Bristol is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization.  At Piedmont Trust Company, she was Senior Trust Officer and on the leadership team. Prior to her work with Piedmont Trust Company, she was in private practice, specializing in estate, trust and charitable planning, and estate and trust administration.

She earned her J.D. and B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Away from the office, she is active in the Greensboro community. Bristol serves as an elder and high school youth advisor at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, is a member of the board of directors at the Greensboro Country Club, and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Greensboro.
